EU-UZBEKISTAN: Two years and no progress on human rights
(Brussels, 17 April) As the EU Presidency prepares to meet representatives of the Andean Community in Santo Domingo, Amnesty International urged it to raise a number of human rights issues that continue to affect the region, in particular Colombia and Peru.

(Brussels, 10 May 2006) The fate of those who risk their lives to promote human rights should be a prime concern of the EU-Latin America and Caribbean Summit, says Amnesty International.
02/03/2006 – In light of Mr Solana’s upcoming meeting with Moroccan Prime Minister Driss Jettou on 9 March, Amnesty International wrote him to draw his attention to four key human rights issues in Morocco and Western Sahara and request him to use the opportunity provided by the meeting to raise them with the Moroccan authorities.
