Amnesty International Spain action on 6 February 2015
06/02/2015 – Amnesty International is writing to ask that Saudi Arabia be placed as an urgent item on the forthcoming Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) agenda; and for strong FAC conclusions on human rights in Saudi Arabia to be adopted ahead of the next European Union (EU) – Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) ministerial meeting.
06/02/2015 – Bulgaria’s failure to adequately investigate and prosecute hate crimes is fuelling fear, discrimination and ultimately violence.
One year on from this tragic incident, victims and their families are still waiting for justice, while the investigation has been blocked and stalled.
05/02/2015 – Following our letter of 24 June 2014 containing Amnesty International’s recommendations to Italy’s Presidency to the European Union (EU), and the end of the Presidency, we are publishing our evaluation of the Italian Presidency’s implementation of these recommendations on human rights.
