24/10/2012 – Amnesty International sent a joint letter today to the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union asking the EU member states to do more for refugees fleeing Syria. The letter sets out clear and practical measures that European states can and should be taking to assist Syrian refugees, both arriving in Europe and in Syria’s neighbouring countries.
