06/05/2004 – Protecting the human rights of women and girls trafficked for forced prostitution in Kosovo. Amnesty International considers that the trafficking of women into forced prostitution is one of the most widespread and pervasive forms of violence against women. In this report, the organization identifies trafficking as a series of abuses and violations of the human rights of trafficked women and girls, both at the hand of their traffickers and subsequently, within the criminal justice system.
