Join us on-line on 29 April in solidarity with migrants, asylum-seekers and refugees

A huge THANK YOU to all of the 94,196 people who signed our petition urging the Greek authorities to stop the shocking treatment of migrants and refugees along the Greek border.

Our work isn’t over and you can still get involved!

On Tuesday 29 April, Amnesty International will be outside the office of Greek Minister Nikolaos Dendias to deliver our message loud and clear that the Greek authorities must put people before borders. Despite the Minister’s refusal to meet us, we are not giving up!

Join us digitally on the day and show the Minister that the shocking treatment of migrants and refugees along Greece’s border will not be tolerated and must end now.

There are three ways you can get involved:
1. On the day, please copy and post this postcard on the Greek Minister’s Facebook page with the following message (and share to encourage your friends on Facebook to do the same):

Dear Minister, stop the shocking treatment of migrants and refugees along #Greece – #Turkey border now #SOSEurope

2. For those of you on Twitter, please tweet the post-card on the day at the Minister with the following tweet:

.@NikosDendias Stop shocking treatment of migrants and refugees along #Greece –  #Turkey border. https://bit.ly/QETVIZ #SOSEurope

3. On Twitter, you can also keep up to date with any reactions by the authorities by following and re-tweeting Amnesty International campaigner @GiorgosKosmop on the day. Giorgos will be outside the Minister’s office with other activists next to a life-size version of the post-card calling on Mr Dendias to put people before borders.

See you all on-line!
