Help end child executions
Ahead of the World Day Against the Death Penalty on October 10, Amnesty International has written to European Parliamentarians urging them to sign a global petition to end child executions. The appeal, by the World Coalition Against the Death Penalty, calls on authorities in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Yemen to end all executions of juveniles. In the first semester of 2009 alone five juveniles were executed in Iran and Saudi Arabia.
