EU mission in Georgia: Address gaps in monitoring of human rights

(Brussels, 7 August) The war between Georgia and the Russian Federation resulted in hundreds of civilian deaths, thousands of injuries and the displacement of almost 192,000 people. One year on, civilians continue to endure human rights violations and remain directly affected by the aftermath of the conflict, said Amnesty International in a report published today.
