21/03/2018 – Amnesty International is herewith lodging a complaint against the European Commission for failure to properly implement the European Union (EU) pilot procedure in relation to its engagement with Italy for breach of the Council Directive 2000/43/EC of 29 June 2000 implementing the principle of equal treatment between persons irrespective of racial or ethnic origin (the Race Equality Directive or RED).
