30/04/2007 – Ahead of the EU–US Troika on 2 March 2007, and the EU-US summit on 30 April 2007, Amnesty International is calling on the EU Presidency to ensure that human rights are a key element of the discussions with the US government and to place the fight against terrorism clearly within the bounds of international human rights law.
