EU Member State Latvia bans Baltic pride event
As Latvia bans the Baltic Pride march planned for this Saturday in Riga, Amnesty International calls on the EU to press the Latvian authorities to let the march go ahead.
Riga City Council has revoked permission for the march, organized by the Latvian organization Mozaika, the Lithuanian Gay League, and Estonian Gay Youth despite prior agreement with the organizers and the police.
