31/05/2011 – On 31 March 2011, the Commission launched its first Annual Report on the Application of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights (the Report). This new initiative was announced by Commissioner Viviane Reding at the outset of her mandate. It complements the Commission’s Strategy on the effective implementation of the Charter, published in October 2010 (the Strategy).
